Kübler Group with record turnover in 2021
Company
31 January 2022The Kübler Group, a leading manufacturer of position and motion sensors, transmission technology, as well as counting and process technology, records its highest turnover to date in 2021, reaching over €80 million in the group with around 25% growth.
And this although, like most companies on the market, Kübler also had to deal with supply bottlenecks and price increases of materials. "The even higher order intake would have allowed even more revenue, but the global supply chains had a braking effect. Nevertheless, we were able to deliver all products with still reasonable delivery times," Lothar and Gebhard Kübler, the two managing partners, report with satisfaction. "We owe this success to our hard-working and loyal employees, who in many cases went to their performance limits to make customer wishes possible. We appreciate this extraordinarily and feel very connected to our team as a large worldwide family."
Martin Huth, Managing Director Sales / MarCom, adds: "We have grown in all regions worldwide, most strongly in the D/A/CH area. Success with some lead customers, which we developed in previous years by means of the Kübler Technology Talks, also contributed to this. For example, together with customers we have developed integrated, smart Kübler encoder systems for new generations of asynchronous motors and are already supplying considerable quantities.
Kübler is known for its expertise in several industries. These have made a significant contribution to the record turnover. For example, Kübler has expanded its range of sensor technology for elevator technology: from bearingless encoders for "pancake drives" to encoders for different elevator motors and safe shaft copying systems for precise positioning of the elevator car.
It is important to the management that in these turbulent times the family-owned company with over 500 employees on the one hand is undergoing major changes and digitalization, and on the other hand the company leaders are focusing on
long-term values and goals in order to offer customers and employees worldwide a high degree of planning security. Dynamism, innovation and flexibility coupled with corporate values such as trust, reliability and family spirit are the driving forces at Kübler.
According to Gebhard Kübler, the topic of Industrial Ethernet in combination with Industry 4.0 / IIoT is also making an important contribution. "Digitization offers great opportunities, because the need for sensor technology in machines is increasing in order to generate more data." Encoders and slip rings are very important in this regard. "Our Industrial Ethernet encoder business is growing because these components provide measurement, diagnostic and identification data - with direct communication into the Ethernet network," he continues. He lists products with IO-Link as another aspect in the Industry 4.0 strategy. A digital service offering with a view to asset management and predictive maintenance is currently being implemented at Kübler.
